Classroom instruction is getting a significant makeover in public schools in Kansas and New York that use digital and cloud technology to encourage collaboration and interactive learning. In New York's Tuckahoe school district, teachers can follow student progress in real time using cloud-based tech, while rural schools in Kansas plan to replace traditional laptops with cloud-based Google Chromebooks starting next year. Research supports school closures for moderate amounts of snow
