Intellectual Property. Sorry its not real.

Do you pay royalties for the use of words? Did you come up with every word you use? Information cannot be owned.

If you have a chair and I take your chair then you no longer have your chair. Theft.

However if you have a chair and I with my own resources construct an exact copy of your chair then you still have your chair. Not Theft.

If you claim downloading a song is theft, then you claim singing is theft. That words can be owned. That your own reflection in your friend’s mirror is theft.

If you want to profit from something you have to have a business model that generates profit. But you cannot change the definition of property at gunpoint in order to make your faulty business model work.
